EVENT DETAILS

Event Details

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is committed to developing transportation improvements that best balance transportation needs, the environment, community concerns and costs. NJDOT will hold a Virtual Public Information Center (PIC) to provide local residents and businesses with information on the Route 22 and Route 202/206 Interchange project. You are encouraged to actively participate by providing comments by mail or e‐mail.

The Public Information Center is being held virtually from February 12-26, 2024. Please use the links below to review the presentation, view project information and submit comments or questions. Comments will be accepted through February 26, 2024.

The overall purpose of this project is to improve safety and reduce delays at the interchange of Route 22 and Route 202/206 in Bridgewater Township, Somerset County. The interchange features short weaving sections between entrance and exit ramps and heavy traffic volumes which exacerbate conflicts between merging and diverging traffic and contribute to the level of congestion and crashes. Please review the flyer at the link below for additional information.
